A pre-apprenticeship gives a high school student a structured head start: the safety credentials, the foundational skills, and the employer relationship, before graduation. Together they are the most direct route we know from a classroom in the Mahoning Valley to a skilled job in it.
Two Tracks, One Direction.
- Pre-Apprenticeship
- For high school students. A defined sequence of coursework, credentials such as OSHA 10-Hour and CPR and First Aid, and work-based learning with a partner employer, designed to lead directly into a registered apprenticeship or a job on graduation.
- Registered Apprenticeship
- For graduates and adults. Paid, on-the-job training with an employer, combined with related instruction, leading to a nationally recognized credential in the occupation. Team Workforce helps employers design the program and helps candidates get into it.
