Designated by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce
One Region. One Connected Pathway System.
Team Workforce holds a Regional Education Partnership designation from the State of Ohio, a recognition that the region’s schools, employers, and workforce partners can build career pathways together, with Team Workforce convening the work.
What A Regional Education Partnership Does.
Ohio’s Regional Education Partnerships are designated by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce to align education and workforce efforts within a region. A partnership brings school districts, career-technical centers, employers, workforce boards, and community organizations to one table, so that a student’s pathway does not end at a district line and an employer’s talent need is visible to every school that could meet it.
We work with Learn to Earn Dayton, which supports Ohio’s Regional Education Partnerships statewide, and with the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition and the region’s workforce boards, to make the partnership real for students and employers.
The Work Of The Partnership.
- Convene
- Regular, structured meetings of districts, employers, and workforce partners with a shared agenda and shared data.
- Align
- Map the region’s in-demand occupations to the credentials, courses, and work-based learning that lead to them, and close the gaps.
- Connect
- Make sure a student in any district in the region can find, and reach, the credential and the employer that fit, regardless of what their home district offers on its own.
- Measure
- Track credential attainment, work-based learning placements, and pathway completion across the region, and report it back to every partner.
