Train And Test In The Same Room.

Team Workforce is a Certiport Authorized Testing Center and an approved provider for the credentials we deliver. Most credentials require a separate authorized site for testing, which is the step where students in small and rural districts get stuck. We remove that step: the instruction and the exam happen in the same building, often in the same week.

We are also an Ohio TechCred training provider. Local businesses can upskill their current employees through TechCred with Team Workforce delivering the training, and school districts can use our credentialing to strengthen their career-technical offerings without building a program from scratch.

How A Learner Earns A Credential.

  1. Pick A Pathway

Manufacturing, healthcare, IT and cybersecurity, quality management, or safety. We help students and adults choose based on what they are good at and what local employers need.

  2. Train With Our Instructors

Hands-on instruction, in person, using the equipment the credential actually requires. Transportation support is available for students who need it.

  3. Test On Site

Exams are delivered through our authorized testing center in the same building. No travel, no waiting list at a distant site.

  4. Put It To Work

Credentials are reported for Ohio graduation requirements where they apply, and we connect completers to employers, apprenticeships, and next-level credentials.

What Our Learners Have Earned.

  • 30+ state-recognized credentials earned in one summer bootcamp
  • 150+ graduation credential points generated in that bootcamp
  • 3 CCST certifications earned by one student in a single summer

Common Questions.

Who can earn a credential with Team Workforce?

High school juniors and seniors, recent graduates, adult learners, and employees of businesses using Ohio TechCred. Programs are open to learners from any district.

Do these credentials count toward graduation in Ohio?

Yes, where Ohio recognizes them. Ohio’s graduation requirements allow qualifying industry-recognized credentials to satisfy a graduation pathway. We report completed credentials to the student’s home district.

What does it cost?

It depends on the program and the funding behind it. Our summer bootcamp was free to every learner. Many pathways are funded by school districts, state programs, or employers. Ask us and we will tell you plainly.

Where do the classes happen?

In partner school buildings and employer sites across the Mahoning Valley and Columbiana County, and at our Youngstown location. We come to where the learners are whenever we can.

Can my business use TechCred with Team Workforce?

Yes. Team Workforce is an Ohio TechCred training provider. Contact us and we will walk you through the application and the credentials that qualify.
